The kids and I were headed out the front door to the school bus and found two new friends!!!
Luckily the Tarantula was just a baby one, but for the snake, we had to have the police come a get him out because all the rock throwing was doing no good and I was not pulling it out.

Oh, Shannalee, that's just disgusting. I've lived here four years and have yet to see a snake or a tarantula and I'm hoping to keep it that way.

Oh my goodness!!! I have yet to see even a scorpion. Just lots and lots of crickets and a few Black Widows! I could handle the spider, but the snake...I would have had heart failure!
Oh wow! I hope those things go into hiding before we return. We cannot wait to see you guys, only a month to go! Happy Halloween, and cute cute costumes!
My dad use to have 2 pet rattle snakes till one tried to bite him when he was feeding it. He then took out the axe and chopped off their heads. No more pet rattle snakes.
