She’s 9

Another birthday has come and gone and my baby girls is 9

This year she informed me she wanted a kindle fire and a ice cream sandwich cake for her birthday.  I quickly let her know that I would not be giving a nine year old her very own kindle fire, but I could figure out how to do a ice cream sandwich cake so I turned this….

into this….

We got her a new big bike instead of the kindle fire. 

Which I think she loved just a much.

We also had a small dance party. 

The girls made flip flops and danced all night.

And at the end of the forever

long birthday weekend. 

“ This was the best Birthday ever.” 

Whew another successful year done.

TEENAGER IN THE HOUSE

Yep its official, even though I tried to stop it, Braxton is officially a teenager.

For his Birthday Megan gave him an awful cold so he wasn’t feeling very good, but this gift got him to perk up a little. 

He’s been saving for months to get this and was happy when we pitched in his b-day money to get it a little early.

We also got snow on his b-day.  The best snow storm I have ever see here in Arizona.  It was a nice little treat to have a stay at home snuggle day to start off our Spring Break.  I know it doesn't look like much but there were times it almost looked like a blizzard outside.

41st Birthday

Well its that time of year again.  Brian turned another year older.

Christmas & New Years

New Years

It was fun to have Grandpa and Grandma Williams here for new years.  We had good food, games and barely were able too keep our eyes open till midnight.

Christmas was also wonderful.  We were lucky enough to have grandparents from Christmas till New Years.

Here is the kids decorations for our Christmas Eve Dinner.  We tried a little Fondue with Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches.  It was delicious!

For Christmas Eve we always get a new game to play as a family.  This year we got Just Dance 3 and had a lot of fun watching everyone boogie the night away even Grandpa and Grandma Manwaring.

Piano Recital

So I have been begging and begging my kids piano teacher to do a recital. 

She finally gave in and the kids did pretty good for their first recital.
